The Recluse and the Rag Picker is a collection of stories that deal with various themes: love, hatred, loneliness, betrayal, pride and even death. In his debut book, the author has tried to amalgamate various themes in a collection, and without trying to unify the stories, has presented the slice of life of modern times. Many of the stories have unnamed narrators, which has been the author?s favourite style of narration.
